About us...

Mrs Williams is the class teacher and Mrs Freeburn, Mr Kershaw, Mrs Szabo and Mrs Al-battat are the teaching assistants in A3. We work hard to create a warm, safe, and inviting environment.

Our class covers a blend of the semi-formal and informal pathways. Our four main core areas we cover are functional English, functional Mathematics, Wellbeing and Independent Living Skills.

The underpinnings of everything we do is centred around each individual pupil. We look at sensory input throughout the day for regulation: to explore the world, to understand stories, to understand maths concepts and also as part of play. These all help us develop our skills in all areas.

The adults make sure that we achieve our best as we strive for an independent life after Hill Top which ever shape or form that may take.

We may come home dirty or a tad grubby but be rest assured we have had a lot of fun along the way.
