The Government provides Pupil Premium which is additional to main school funding.  The pupil premium grant is designed to support schools in helping disadvantaged pupils by improving their progress and the exams results they achieve when compared with their peers.

Pupil premium is calculated based on pupils who are eligible and fit the following criteria:

2025/26

• Free School Meals (FSM)/Ever 6 FSM = £1,050 per pupil
• Looked after children/previously looked after = £2,570 per pupil
• Service children = £340
