Dear Parents and Carers,
As we reach the end of a busy and productive term, we would like to wish you all a very happy Christmas and a healthy, peaceful New Year. It has been a wonderful term filled with achievements, growth, and memorable moments, and we are incredibly proud of all our pupils, and the staff support that makes this happen.
We have seen fantastic progress across the school—particularly in RWInc, where pupils have shown increased confidence and enthusiasm in their reading. Our older pupils have impressed us with their hard work and maturity during work experience placements, and we have also seen a noticeable rise in independent travel skills, which is a wonderful step towards greater independence for many of our young people. Our new Year 7s have settled in brilliantly, becoming valued members of our school community.
We were delighted to welcome so many of you to our Christmas Cuppa and Cake Morning, which was a great success and a lovely opportunity to come together. The Autism Christmas Crafty Afternoon was another highlight—thank you to everyone who attended and supported these events. Your ongoing support makes such a positive difference to school life, and we are truly grateful.
A reminder that the new term begins on Monday 5th January, and we look forward to welcoming pupils back in full school uniform, ready for another exciting and successful term ahead.
Wishing you all a joyful Christmas break and a Happy New Year.
Kind regards
Anita Bell
