Take a look at this excellent multimedia presentation by one of our Year 11 students for Bronze Arts Award. Well done!

The Performing Arts is a central part of the life at Hill Top Specialist Arts College.

All pupils in the school are given opportunities to take part in the arts - performers, musicians, back stage crew, lighting technicians, property masters, publicity agents.

From starting in year 7 as performers in the school Christmas Nativity, pupils are able to develop their individual Performing Arts abilities throughout their life at Hill Top. We traditionally present one major production each year, usually in the summer term, but we hold other events throughout the year.

Pupils are able to sing in choir and / or take up musical instruments. We regularly enjoy performances from professional practitioners both within and outside school. At key stage 4, all pupils study towards the nationally recognised qualification, Trinity College Arts Awards - bronze and silver awards, which enables students to continue their interests in the performing arts when they leave school
