I have been Head of School since September 2011 and previously Deputy Headteacher at Hill Top for 11 years. I am delighted to say that Hill Top was judged to be "OUTSTANDING" in February 2011. This was achieved because we all work together enthusiastically to secure ever more ambitious outcomes for all our students who respond well to the school's positive atmosphere.

The students strive to achieve their very best in lessons and their exemplary attitudes and outstanding behaviour enable them to make the best of the varied opportunities provided by the school's rich and diverse curriculum.

The involvement of parents, carers, governors and multi-agency teams is of paramount importance and by working together we all support the students' aspirations in tangible ways to help students make outstanding progress both academically and socially thus improving their life skills, life chances and ultimate well-being for when they leave school.
